Those are actual sparklers not the “cold spark”. Some venues don’t know better and some just don’t care. Either way someone’s in trouble

Not sure what kind of spark it is - the item that caught was a fluffy chandelier decoration - maybe a cold spark could light that?

The question is did the venue know that this was to be at this wedding? They might have not known ahead of time about this. The issue is who will be responsible for this? The people working at the venue, the owner or the DJ?

I was told the ones that Taso uses cost 3k each. That's what is as much as some DJs spent on their gear. LOL.

2k each plus a controller that’s 900.

As far as the cold sparks, no those wouldn’t light it. The temperature of the material coming out is under 60 degrees.

Thanks. Now what I figure is that DJ could not afford the ones you have and probably didn't know the dangers of using the ones that DJ did. All they knew is the client wanted sparklers. Hopefully nobody was seriously injured.

I have to admit....when I saw only the title of the thread...and I saw mix’s name as the last poster, I mistakenly assumed he started the thread and thought....here we go again😁

Being that this was probably done outside of the US I assume that cold sparks are not available there... and 2... the regulations on whats allowed or not allowed at venues is much much different... in fact the list of what's not allowed is relatively small. Those sparklers come out very hot... cold sparks come out at 60 degrees or less. I'm surprised they allowed people that close to it.
