So ive been at this modern marketing/booking game for 18 months or so (so much different than my dj marketing of the 90s and early 2000's) and ive began to notice a trend.
Tuesdays and Thursdays are a booking hot spot for me...
Anyone else have this?
I booked two parties yesterday... and glancing back over emails and texts for the last few months...it seems a huge percentile of people book on tuesdays and thursdays... so i gave it some thought...and realized... people put things off til monday... they say... "im enjoying my weekend...when i get back to work on monday i will do it"... then mondays are normally super busy catching up after the weekend....which pushes things like booking a dj to Tuesday.... The same logic applies to thursday... "ive got to book a dj this week... but the weekend is coming up...i better do it before friday because friday im headed out here or there" ...so they do it thursday.
It also could be because the only days i ever market on Instagram is Tuesdays and Thursdays... ive always noticed i get the most interaction on those days...even back when i ran the puppet theater....we promoted on those days more heavily.
