Okay, I'm sure I will get push back on this ... but I hate most of the 90's music...for weddings. I love it for any other setting - Fun! However, I'm sorry but the vast majority of this decade sucks for great dance music for wedding receptions. Are there exceptions? YEP! Is there great music as far as great driving music or hanging out with friends music in this decade? Absolutely! But to have HOURS of great choices for good energy on a dance floor with just 90's? Good god! The choices, in my opinion, are slim. Alternative music, which this decade is known for, is great listening music...great hanging music...great driving music. However, it is NOT great dancing music (in my own personal opinion). Now...before you crawl all over me with opinions, are there exceptions? Of course! But I struggle to find great "keep the dance floor packed with energy with 90's music for hours on end". It just seems to be an "explore unique boundaries" decade not "let's get on the dance floor" music. Now....If anyone wants to throw stones about this , cool, but instead of doing that, throw options my way, cuz I hate this decade but I'm all ears and because it's largely a millennial to later millennial decade I know I have to figure it out. I just struggle...I have a wedding I'm prepping for that loves hip hop and 90's/2000's...Okay, there is some great hip hop in there for sure...BUT...for a wedding?...that can fill up several hours?? All I can think of is Biggie rappin' about "them nig*** ridin' dicks" or Lil" Kim talking about how many licks it takes! . C'mon! Any suggestions (rather than stones haaa) would be helpful. I mean I know there are"clean" versions but...
Sincerely,
