So i did a search and couldn't seem to find anything on this, has anyone heard of or used/uses 8th wonder record pool aka 8thwonderpromos? The price is amazing, and i'm just wondering if you think it is legal to use their service, they have a few things that are of interest to me, but i just wanna hear some others opinions on the legalities of their services? And note i have a couple other subscription services also...i'm just greedy

The site " Says " that when you click to download you're downloading directly from the independent labels?? I've never heard of them allowing that though, that's why i'm skeptical??

My Pappy always told me -- if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is...

Some of my customers seem to use P2P for whatever reasons -- but I'm not a music cop. I will offer up to them though, that you get what you pay for.

If yer willing to live with lots of flies and maggots, then download the sh_t...;)

It's not P2P, it's a pool type service. That being said, I don't know the legalities.

I would not bet they are legal. Most pools cost a pretty decent price to survey their new releases it aint cheap.

haha, yeah i'd love to believe them and just go with it haha, but i just can't do it......keep in mind i already do have subscriptions with Prime Cuts, Mastermix, and ultimix....It would be nice to have access to another source for even more music videos was my biggest appeal to the 8th wonder pool, but sounds like you all are as skeptical as i am so maybe i should just pass on this one

I use them as well as Djcity both are music pools

There was a debate on another forum about this, and after reading that thread, i felt confortable about 8thwonder. I dont use them as my primary source of music. I get alot off of DJCity, but I usually go through Billboard.com and a few other music list sites, and make sure i have all the top 50 and 100 stuff from their list, and the top 10 i make sure i have a few 120 or 130bpm club mixes.
