Back at Harrah’s: 2019 DJ Expo Dates Set

Atlantic City, N.J. After winning big with its 2018 show, DJ Expo will return to AC’s lively Marina District for the 2019 edition.

Set to run August 12-15 at Harrah’s Resort Atlantic City, DJ Expo will present its popular slate of DJ-related exhibitions, educational seminars/anecdote-filled keynotes, and sponsored evening events. Now in its 30th year, DJ Expo is produced by DJ Times magazine and its publisher, Testa Communications, and it remains America’s longest-running and most-successful DJ conference/exhibition.

As always, DJ Expo caters to DJs of all stripes (club jocks, mobile entertainers, remixer/producers, upstarts, etc.), and each show offers something for everyone – new technologies, professional advice, valuable networking opportunities, plus plenty of opportunities for attendees to win daily prizes, including the annual “Ultimate DJ Giveaway.”

With its spacious exhibit hall, modern meeting rooms and exciting entertainment venues, Harrah’s Resort Atlantic City will again offer plenty for DJ Expo exhibitors and attendees. From first-class services to fine dining, ample recreation and top-notch leisure venues, Harrah’s Resort has it all. Also, it’s home to The Pool — a year-round tropical entertainment complex perfect for unique DJ Expo events.

Stay tuned for upcoming DJ Expo announcements, including info on early-bird registration discounts!

Ditto Me too. I’m hoping I’m working in the area when it happens or someone throwing themselves a birthday party around the same time . That way I can hit a few events at the same time.

Why??? You live SO close by. I might go this year, but it will be a LONG drive. I’m seriously considering it though.[emoji4]

Nothing new to really see.

Also, it depends with my job. I work 40 hours a week now during the week. If I still have the job in August, which I plan to have it still...I would have to take off of work to go. My Dad wants to go this year, but I don't think he can handle all the walking around. My brother has no intention of going any more.

My opinion could change by August, but I'm just not feeling it.

Neither of which are “NEW”. [emoji1]

OK .. SO, if you're going and you HAVEN'T got a room yet, I have a tip for you.

The show rooms at Harrahs are $129 per night booked through the DJExpo site ... BUUTTTT .. if you are a Caesars Rewards member (free, just sign up) and check the rooms directly after signing in to your rewards account, I found you can get the SAME rooms for $50-$70 per night (plus the usual crap fees), but now you save up to 40% for the same thing !!!

I booked Tuesday - Thursday. My wife may come down this time. If she doesn't, I may scale back to just Wed-Thur (Thursday is the best day for bargains and giveaways). Who's going ?? Maybe we get a dinner together again !!

Bryan and I should be there Wednesday and Thursday if our current schedule. holds. Usually I stay at a Comfort Inn on Route 30 or 40, much cheaper and you get breakfast in the morning. But it’s all depends on Bryan and whether he wants to go again. I’m assuming yes. Hopefully, The show will be a little more exciting this year and I miss the show not being on the boardwalk

I agree .. I liked the old Trump Taj location.

I agree .. I liked the old Trump Taj location.

My Dad and I both agree with that assessment! Taj was the best location. I do't understand why they don't have it at Hard Rock. It's a music themed resort. All I can think of is that the Hard Rock simply wants too much money to host the expo there.

At this point I am very unlikely to head down. I looked at the calendar, and a lot of people in my office are taking off on vacation that week. If I were to ask for a couple days off, I don't see my manager approving it. ...I also don't have any vacation time left. Used the little bit I had accrued when I went on vacation in June.

My Dad really wants to go. He is getting older, and I think he feels he won't have many more chances to head up to Atlantic City with others and play some slots. He has always liked going to AC. He went there as a teenager and young adult on vacation way before the casinos were there and I think that is what it stems from.

OK .. we're only 2 weeks away from the DJ Expo .. Who is in ??

As I mentioned above, I'm coming down Tue-Thur. My wife will come if it looks like good weather, so I'll probably spend most of Wed. near the beach/boardwalk with her if she goes. Probably hit the expo for an hour or so either Tue (depending on the time I get there) or Wed., and then for a few on Thursday.
