On the PC side I have been using Alway Sync allwaysync.com

But now that I am trying to get my iMac up and running for gigs, I need to be able to sync my music and video collection between the PC and Mac systems.

Any suggestions for software to do this?

Thanks

only way to truly do a backup is just what you CREATE

software can always be re-installed so why backup the OS or a full hard drive

have a nice day!

Thanks for the reply dennis.

AlwaySync looks at two drives (or libraries) and tells you what is new, deleted and changed between the two and then allows you to update one from the other. I only used it on my music library. Not the programs, OS or anything else. I used is just for the music & Video libraries.

They say you should keep four copies. The live set, the backup you take with you, the backup you keep at home and the backup you keep off site in case your house burns down.

I have recently become a card-carrying, fanatical, blindly following to software program, Acronis. It does full, incremental, sector, selective, et al. It may perhaps by your guiding light too
