instrumentals

Most weddings that I'm involved with, are in some beautiful courtyard or garden.

The theme is going to be "CLASSICAL" in most cases, which is why I stick with the bride's theme.

However, a recent wedding required that I play "Classic Vocals" prior to the ceremony: Ella, Nat King Cole, Frank, Tony Bennett, Billie Holiday, etc.
Got a lot of compliments at that one!

Even though this was great as a change of pace--- I prefer instrumentals of classical variety: it tells everyone "This is a wedding, beotch!"

I usually play classical using songs from several Cds there are also some good Cds that come to mind.
Vladimir Horowitz "Beethoven Sonatas",
Cecile Licad "Rachmaninoff Concerto 2"
Classic Film Music-Quintessence (Compilation of 9 great classicals)
I also play Traditional Instrumental Jazz
I also play some New Age such as stuff by Andreas Vollenweider
It just depends on the clients and the setting.
