I have no idea how much oomph this system has but presumably, I think the concept is a good one. Even (magnitudes) better if they could have a wireless linking solution in place. I'd love nothing better than to be able to spread 2, 4, 6, etc. of these "Baby Bose L1" system around a room. Having sound that's well distributed throughout the room and even in side rooms/patios would be a major step forward.

If I recall correctly they are the most expensive of the bunch too but maybe worth it they spec out great

Few observations based solely on looking at the link. Have not listened to it.

These seem pretty cool. Spec wise looks pretty good for $799. Comparing to the l1 compact at $999.

But I really don't know what the specs are one the L1 compact. I just know it does a ceremony or cocktail hour wonderfully.

The one difference I can see is the weight. Compact is 22lbs vs 68lb. on this one. I'm hoping at 68 lbs it can do more than the compact.
The compact takes 1/8" and rca in addition to xlr and 1/4". That's nice, but having an adapter is not that big of a deal

The Bluetooth features and iPhone iPad remote features are certainly something the compact doesn't have.

I'd love to hear it and hear about the companies track record and customer service reputation.

Yeah, the compact is still hard to beat given it's light weight. If Bose added the bluetooth features of the Turbosound it would be just about perfect.

Bluetooth is ok. But I still would be concerned about using it at a gig. Now the iPad/iPhone remote thing would awesome to have.
