I ordered two of these with the thoughts of mounting one on top of each of my speakers as a wash effect, is there a way to use them master slave wireless or am I better off to buy a simple DMX controller and use that wireless

I think you can only do Master/Slave via cable .. I don't think it uses the DMX protocol.

Wireless should be possible with a couple of Wifly devices... One as transmitter and the slave one as the receiver...
