The camera normally sells for around $1200 new. These are factory refurbished and sold directly from Canon with a 1yr warranty. The lens isn't the greatest, but it's included for the same price as the body alone, so maybe you can upgrade and sell it on eBay for a few bucks.
A very nice still and video camera. I have the 60d, which I use as a backup to my 7d and 5d, and it takes great pictures. I like the articulating screen .. allows you to shoot video with it held up in the air.
