At least Chauvet did it themselves.

Does it matter? It allows the local language titles to be added to the stock photo without re-shooting it.

Also, with 3D CAD renderings, many product "photos" on the web, are purely computer generated and need the photoshopped logos, since it doesn't make sense to model them. I used to sell/support 3D CAD software ... we were making fake "real" products 15+ years ago.

Amazon has them in stock, so they're being sold. Sometimes it's just easier and less costly to do it that way .. I don't read anything into quality because of it.

I guess I'm less cynical .. and that's unusual.

Saw a small white pin spot like that in Sam Ash when I listened to the ETX18SP and ETX35P, then picked up my ETX stuff. The ones I saw had a bunch of mounting options, one of which was magnetic and they were battery powered.

I don't know if they were Chauvet or ADJ, but they came in a box of 4 I beleive. They were using them all over the store to highlight items.

As a Marketing Manager for CHAUVET DJ, I can tell you the EZ Pin are full in stock and easy to ship.
I can also tell you, they are plenty bright enough to pin spot just about any staging area at a special event. Each of the centerpieces in this photo was spotted with an EZPin.

@Geoff Short welcome to the forum please drop by often.

I can't speak for the EZPin but I will say I have had a Chauvet Mini Moon for over 10 years and haven't changed as much as a light bulb. Any Chauvet product I have had has had good quality

This forum must be important if the marketing manager of Chauvet got alarmed by my comments and decided to sign up and post that. They can't be selling many..
Any forum or room or venue or nook and cranny where people are talking about lighting is important to us. But no, I'm not alarmed at all. We're grateful that the EZPIN is very popular and selling just fine. I just want to make sure people get accurate information. Then everyone can make informed decisions for themselves.

If you'd like to talk more about Chauvet, you're also welcome to help fund the site as a sponsor :)

95% of my lighting is from Chauvet and have had great service on both sides of the border.

Also a long time Chauvet customer. The 4Bars are still the foundation of my lighting rig. As an aside, wondering why Chauvet has not developed or offered a very basic remote (like UC3) for people who don't want to have the full blown DMX show?
