Not bad for an $11 app. Probably need a long throw projector (mine is short-throw).

The "Wow" factor is there until you realize that the projector is about 6 feet away in their video. The takeaway is that pretty much any light source looks better with haze.

Well that was going to be my question..... what does it do without the haze?

Still, it looks cool, and I am looking into buying a projector anyway.

Still .. not a lot different than most effect lights, so if you have the projector, might be worth the $11.

It's gonna cost a lot more the $11 when you add the ipad, projector and haze. But it looks like a lot of effects from one source. Sound activated would be a nice feature.

I don't think the people who made the video were thinking of it as a light show.
That's probably why they didn't show how it looked on the wall or on the floor.
If you alerady have a projector, you could be able to reduce the amount of dance floor lights.
Would make a for a pretty compact light show...especially in a smaller room.
Gotta admit, it's brilliantly simple.

And just imagine if you stacked multiple projectors. That could be a very stunning display. I think I may have to give it a go next week.

Many already have a projector and an iPad/iPhone. Haze is pretty much off limits in the places I play, so the effect would have to be ok in the same way my Revo 4 is (or any of the ADJ/Chauvet effect lights).

I may drop the $11 to see, though I only have a short throw projetor, which may be tough to use, since the throw distance is limited (unless I want to cover the entire ceiling, which might be cool).

I can see that the first DJs to get this will have a unique light show that could have a competitive edge. With so much versatility in one source, this might be where dance floor lighting is headed.
