I had the pleasure of doing the Daddy Daughter Dance for Todd County again this year. Last year we did it in the HS cafeteria with over 150 people and ran out of room. This year we went to a larger venue and ran out of room again, with over 300 people.
It is for K-8th graders. We had several grandpas with thier grandkids (in thier 60's), who danced for the entire 3 hours, I never saw them take a seat. We had step-dads with the daughters and the real dad there also, with all having fun and dancing together. This is absolutely the best group of people I have had the privelage to do music and lights for. The dance floor was packed all night, and I do mean packed. I will give you the playlist below and I put in a few songs expecting to give them a little break, they didn't need any stinkin breaks You couldn't find a song to clear the dance floor, but I really didn't look hard
The equipment was as follows, and I received more complements on the sound quality than you can imagine. I had one father who is a studio recording artist in Nashville and has played on many hit country records (piano), who said the two EV-ZX1 8" speakers were the most phenominal small speaker he had ever heard in his life and could not beleive the volume level they produced and stayed crystal clear. We had to push some volume.
