After this past weekend's events where we used them for 3 different events, my next down-time project will be involving a spool of 16/3 SJOOW cable, 20 IEC female plugs & 20 male Edisons - going to make up 20 5' cables that are more flexible & tuck in areas for a neater setup.

Now to find a dealer for the IEC plugs....

Cheers,

Joe

Joe,

Please keep us updated on this...I'd really like to get this done too. I can't stand the jackets on the cords that come with them.

Yup will do.

I will correct myself - only using 18/3 AWG wire.

Just found the IEC plugs I want - made by Schurter. These alone will cost ~ $105.

Great lights - but will prob. end up spending another $200+ to redo all of the power cords. :(

Thanks....I think....:triwink:

I wasn't going to ask my partner (who's the EMT) to make my cords for me....

Just messin'.

Now where's Ron to add some zinger in the mix....LOL

BTW, how are you & your clients liking your new lighting Sarge?

So far they love them. Of course I've thrown them in once at each venue to get pictures, but the out look is good. If not, you'll see them on here in about a year. lol

Just some uplights from a couple different locations. These are 1 watt units with 36 lamps per fixture. As you can see, the ballrooms are brightly lit during these photos... no pure darkness here to "taint" the picture...

Instead of just the head table, here's a before and after of a halloween wedding where we did the whole room.

Great Pars, I'm a big fan and use LED Par Cans all the time. We have the Long nose and short ones with Digital Dip Sticks. If you connect a DMX Controller you can have many colors, have you tried that?
