Controlling DMX lights from anywhere in the room...

My son-in-law is a musician who is into recording multi-track music from his keyboard in his small studio. All his equipment is MIDI compatible.

While visiting him last week, we started discussing MIDI controllers and talked about a wireless MIDI keyboard to control all of my DMX lights.

I'm going to learn how to set up the MIDI hardware and carry a very small MIDI controller on a shoulder strap and trigger my lights form anywhere in the club.

I'll have to add that to my DMX book when I have it down.

that sounds very cool... so when you coming to Maui to set up my 4 tiny lights..... you are your wife could come out, you could spend a day with me and then you could write most of your trip off as business...

Not a bad idea...

I sat here for several minutes and pondered that suggestion. Now I've also made the offer to anyone to spend some time at my house while in the area, and I really meant it. I have to assume you really meant it too.

I may have to ponder some more on taking you up on the offer. I've never been there and can't think of any good reason not to go there some day... change the sheets... might be sooner than you think.
