One of my favorite party holidays.......surprisingly enough I am not booked for the 31st, but only for the 24th so far. Weird.....I think the economy here locally is driving that, at least a bit.

The party on the 24th is at a private residence, and should be great fun. I will setup a small light show, with uplighting primarily, blacklights, strobe, and scanners......

What else is everyone got planned/booked?

Got 2 as well, for the same dates. Both are with community associates that I have done work for in the past. In fact, one switched to the 24th after I told them I was booked for the 31. Nice feeling.

One of my favorite party holidays.......

Mine too -- I actually miss doing Halloween gigs :)

I used to like to get all dressed up, and make an ass out of myself -- and nobody cared. Not like the other 364 days, where they bitched at me... :sqerr: :sqlaugh:

I don't even get to scare kids anymore -- too much traffic, nobody comes here.

Now I do risque stuff, like measure bricks, and put caulk around tubs (see what you have to look forward to when the AARP mag starts arriving)... :sqeek: :sqlaugh:

We're actually hosting a block party in our neighborhood on Halloween night. My wife is planning the whole thing. We're breaking out our system with lights, fog machine, games for the kids and a bouncer. Plus it's potluck...all the neighbors are bringing food too. This should be a lot of fun!

Wedding on the 31st, just photos and no music because we don't do the big "K".....:sqwink:

Had a website inquiry (DJ only) yesterday for a birthday party on the 30th. Not sure if I really want to do it, but we'll talk to them and see if it will be a good fit for both of us.

I hate Halloween.

In fact, where I went to college, there was a HUGE - for the town size - parade every year. It was 1 block from campus. I never saw 30 seconds of it. I hate anything that involves costumes, including the Mummer's parade here in Philly.

I wouldn't even want to see Mardi Gras if not for all the nice young ladies who like to trade their "goodies' for beads.

we dont celebrate it here - its just another typical wedding lol

Just confirmed a Halloween party for Oct 24. The theme is the Flintstones. Were gonna have a gay old time.

I just got my Hallowindow III dvd in the mail the other day to use for trick-or-treat.

I'll be implementing a new toy to play the movie files. :sqwink:

We're booked for a wedding on Halloween! Costume reception - the J Mac and I are thinking of going as zombies. :)

We're meeting up for the final meeting with the bride tomorrow. It's gonna be a fun time! :)

I am as ready for Halloween as I am for any of the other Halmark Holidays :)

Some cool news...I received a call yesterday from the City of Gilbert where I live. The newspaper wants to do a story on me and the wife regarding our block party on Halloween. Can you say "Free Advertisement"?
