How do you keep from getting wrinkled?

I have one for my 4 foot table, that I've tried to fold up, lay as flat as I can in a trunk.... take it out during the week and hang it... but it still looks wrinkled.... thoughts?

Chuck Mine are made from a material that simply doesn't wrinkle! I ball mine up shove them into the bag and pull them out for the next show!

I had a custom fire safe Velvet skirt made to velcro on my stand for Weddings its also wrinkle resistant.

I'll give you a call in the morning and explain how you can build your own "FaCIEd".

I'll be out for Halloween in Lahaina, and I expect to stay for three weeks.
Are you and Kajira ready for my famous char-broiled Brontosaurus Steaks?

Washed down with a few Longboards!

Try www.georgiaexpo.com. I bought 2 skirts from them a few years ago complete with fire rated certificate. I just fold them and throw them on the cart. Very few to no wrinkles. They usually have some great deals on left overs and seconds.

My kilt I just hang. The wool holds up well against wrinkles. However I can't seem to get the wrinkles out of my fat ass. I've got to stop sitting so much.

For the custom made facades. I'm going to try and build one myself. I just ordered a new toy, I mean tool. It's a Kreg Jig. www.kregtool.com It should make building one a lot easier if it works the way it's suppose to. For the inserts I'm thinking of using thin clear plexi-glass and some widow film. Depending on cost. Lowe's has all kinds of different patterns.

Just a few ideas.

We'll take ya up on the steaks, but while your sipping longboards, I'll have a Rum & coke

What? No Mai Tai?
I am apalled that the serious cord wrap guy aka Steve aka Thunder would wrap cords so anal but ball up his skirt in this fashion. Bolderdash!!

Chuck,

I've got a 4, 6, & 8' DJ skirt - Normally at the end of the gig, I take the skirt & fold it across, taking it at the corners from front to back, then fold it further. Once that's done, it hangs on a hanger until the next gig.

Sometimes, with the 8', I will refold it with the help of a 2nd person after I get home & it's been fine.

Ron,

TMI - but thanks for sharing.... feel better? :sqlaugh:
